Las Colinas Ritz-Carlton Upgrades Ready in May
Up until last week, it was the Four Seasons Resort at Las Colinas. Now, it’s a Marriott International Ritz-Carlton. The new owners, who took over the resort last summer, are spending $55 million on renovations that are just months away from completion.
The Dallas Business Journal reports the new owners are working on upgrades to the entire property, which are expected to continue through May and are led by design firms Jeffrey Beers International and Leo A Daly. Renovations include a new lobby bar, updates to all guest rooms and 80,000 square feet of updated meeting space and ballroom facilities.
This marks the second Ritz-Carlton property in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The company also recently announced plans to renovate the other local property along McKinney Avenue in Dallas, a 218-room hotel built in 2007.
