Swedish Manufacturer Chooses Plano for 100K SF US HQ

Assa Abloy Global Solutions makes locks, doors and other high-security systems for distribution to 70 countries. The company plans to relocate its North American headquarters to Plano’s Research-Technology Crossroads at 2925 East Plano Parkway—the firm plans to open its new facility in October.

The Dallas Business Journal reports the company will hire 350 new employees at its new campus over the next 10 years. The company will lease 107,000 square feet of flex space at the city’s 800-acre technology and industrial park. 

Research-Technology Crossroads in southeast Plano is located near University of Texas at Dallas and Texas Instruments’ semiconductor plant. Several other tech companies are located nearby including Creation Technologies, Luminator Technology Group and ABB Power Electronics Inc.
