NJ Resi Building RB3 Lands $150M Construction Financing
RB3, an upcoming 426-unit, 11-story apartment building on the Hudson River Gold Coast in West New York, NJ., has secured $150 million in construction financing. The financing was secured through a five-year, fixed-rate loan with The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company.
Located at 30 Avenue at Port Imperial, RB3 is part of the Port Imperial master-planned community and will be the only rental building directly on the waterfront. The property is expected to be completed in Q4 2026 and will feature studio, one- and two-bedroom units with amenities. JLL arranged the financing with a team led by Jon Mikula, Jim Cadranell and Steven Klein and Ryan Carroll.
Port Imperial comprises more than 7,500 apartments and townhomes available for rent or purchase, along with 150,000 square feet of retail space, two Marriott hotels, two public garages, and over 20 acres of public areas. These include parks, sports fields, outdoor retail plazas, and a two-mile-long riverfront walkway.
