MacKenzie Contracting Promotes Sara Pollacco to VP
Maryland-based MacKenzie Contracting Company has promoted Sara Pollacco to the position of vice president. Pollacco’s new role involves overseeing day-to-day construction management activities for various ongoing projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. Her responsibilities include managing subcontractor construction work, acting as a liaison between MacKenzie and end-users, troubleshooting on-site issues, and handling diverse tasks such as budgeting, estimating, and change order management.
Joining the company in 2018 as a project manager and subsequently advancing to senior project manager in 2020, Pollacco has nearly eight years of project management and business experience.
“Sara brings extreme value to every assignment, is the consummate team player and is a significant reason why MacKenzie Contracting Company completed more than 180 construction projects in 2023 in a record-setting year,” stated Marty Copsey, President/COO & Principal of the 35-person group, which celebrated its 35-year anniversary last year.
