Archdiocese Inks 142K-SF in Midtown
The Feil Organization has signed a 30-year, 142,308-square-foot lease with the Archdiocese of New York at 488 Madison, bringing the Midtown tower to over 90 percent leased. The Archdiocese of New York, the nation’s second-largest diocese, will occupy the entire third through seventh floors of the building.
The move is part of the Archdiocese’s plan to more efficiently utilize its resources, reducing its central office footprint and restoring the Archdiocese’s campus near St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The relocation is scheduled for 2025.
Mary Ann Tighe and Lauren Crowley Corrinet of CBRE represented the Archdiocese of New York, and the Feil Organization was represented in-house by Andrew Wiener. “The Feil Organization has established a shining reputation as a multi-generational owner/operator that delivers on its commitments and, given the Archdiocese’s desire for turnkey space, the firm’s demonstrated capabilities were fundamental to creating a deal,” said Tighe.
