Goodman Group Breaks Ground in Cypress on “Next Generation” Industrial
The Goodman Group has broken ground on Goodman Commerce Center Cypress, a two-building campus geared toward what the firm refers to as “the next generation of modern industrial uses.” Located in the northwest Orange County city of Cypress, the project totals 389,809 square feet, with construction expected to complete in the third quarter of 2024.
‘“Goodman Commerce Center Cypress is an all-in-one solution for companies facing the challenges of today – technology-driven manufacturing, demand for fast delivery times, recruiting and retaining top talent and achieving sustainability goals,” said Anthony Rozic, CEO of Goodman North America.
On the latter point, the development will use building materials with lower carbon content, along with other sustainable design features that promote energy and water efficiency, such as such as rooftop solar arrays, EV chargers, skylights and drought-tolerant landscaping.
Rick Ellison at Cushman & Wakefield will spearhead leasing at the project.
