Primestor Signs South LA Café as Retail Tenant in MXU

Primestor Development has signed community coffee house South LA Café to a long-term lease at Evermont, Primestor’s mixed-use development located in South Los Angeles at the northwest corner of Manchester and Vermont avenues. The approximately 2,300-square-foot South LA Café will be the retailer’s fifth Café location and the second retail lease at the project, including its anchor Target store.

Scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2024, Evermont is being developed in partnership with BRIDGE Housing and will deliver 180 units of affordable housing for seniors, families and youth. The project will also include more than 64,000 square feet of commercial and retail space, a SEED public charter school and a Metro Transit Plaza and training facility.

“Primestor believes in creating destinations that reach out to and empower the communities we serve,” said Leandro Tyberg, president of Primestor. “South LA Café’s dedication to community engagement aligns perfectly with our vision, and we look forward to working together to bring a dynamic space to South Los Angeles.”
