IPA Adds Multifamily Investment Specialists from Northmarq

Marcus & Millichap said Monday that multifamily investment advisors Kyle Pinkalla and David Stollenwerk have joined Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap. Pinkalla joins IPA in San Diego as an SVP, while Stollenwerk joins in Nashville as a director. Both came to IPA from Northmarq.

“The addition of Kyle deepens our national network of expert investment advisors and underscores our ongoing commitment to increase our presence in Southern California, with a focus in San Diego and Inland Empire,” said John S. Sebree, SVP and director of Multi Housing Division, Marcus & Millichap and IPA.

Previously managing director of multifamily investment sales in Southern California for Northmarq, Pinkalla has more than 18 years of acquisition, development and on-site management experience. During his career, he has been involved in more than $4 billion in investment sales transactions, including core, institutional, private-client, value-add, and land development sales throughout Southern California.

Stollenwerk joins IPA with more than 15 years’ experience serving institutional investors, national developers, banks, REITs, pension funds and major private investors with the acquisition and disposition of multifamily assets.

“David has become part of our collaborative network of national commercial real estate brokers meeting the needs of investors competing for opportunities in Nashville’s rapidly changing multifamily market,” said Sebree.
