Activision to Open First Office in Boston 

Activision Blizzard Inc., a Santa Monica-based video game company, is subleasing a full floor at The Hub on Causeway Tower above North Station in Boston from Verizon Communications Inc. Reported by Boston Business Journal.  

Verizon had previously subleased portions of its space, with Alphabet Inc.’s Verily occupying some. With 190,000 square feet now available for sublease, including more than 27,000 square feet soon to be taken by Activision. 

Activision’s move comes amid ongoing scrutiny, including a recent gender discrimination settlement and news of CEO Bobby Kotick’s upcoming departure.
