Cushman & Wakefield Launches Asset Optimization Group for Distressed Assets

Cushman & Wakefield has created an Asset Optimization Group designed to help lenders, investors and servicers of underperforming assets. The firm will leverage a suite of services, including receivership, property management, market research and valuation to maximize asset recovery and mitigate deterioration.

“The Asset Optimization Group provides integrated, tailored solutions to maximize recovery for office, industrial, retail, and multifamily properties that are underperforming or distressed in this new environment,” said Revathi Greenwood, Head of Real Estate Optimization at Cushman & Wakefield.

The firm will use strategic insights and expertise to support clients in managing the complexity of everything from asset-level cashflows and funding tenant improvements to regulatory and accounting issues. “Our clients will be able to utilize the breadth of our platform, wealth of information and deep market insights to help them consider their options – both on individual asset-level business plans and across portfolios of assets,” added Greenwood.
