Houston Entertainment Center Gets Revamped
Levcor has spent over $10 million on renovations to the Marq’E mixed-use development outside the 610 Loop. Levcor first announced the overhaul of the nearly 330,000-square-foot entertainment center in 2021. Work started on the project a little over a year ago. The 23-screen Regal Cinemas received a major facelift to the theater’s lobby, upgrading seating and adding new, more current audio/visual equipment.
Besides the upgrades to the theater, Levcor has added five entertainment and restaurant tenants. They include Sloomoo Institute, a slime-centric multi-sensory play area, Aviator Pizza and Drafthouse and Immersive Gamebox.
Meanwhile, the broader Marq’E development is undergoing its own renovations.
Included in the plan is a nearly 49,000-square-foot, two-story building to accommodate more businesses as well as extensive landscaping. Levcor bought the Marq’E in 2014.
