Trinity Capital wraps up Phase I of large life sciences campus

Massive Life Sciences Campus Opens in Morrisville

A mammoth life sciences campus in Morrisville, between Raleigh and Durham, has wrapped up Phase I but is waiting on a few things before committing to Phase II.

The Triad Business Journal reports the first three buildings and a parking deck in Spark LS, Trinity Capital Advisors‘ $1 billion development, are finished and ready for tenants. The buildings total 525,000 square feet and sit along McCrimmon Parkway. Phase one also includes a 20,000-square-foot amenity building and a 10,000-square-foot wellness and fitness center. Still no tenants yet, but the developers say they are working on it. And regarding moving forward on Phase II, the company is waiting to see what the market does. Even though funding is not committed for the second phase the company says it will move ahead.

There is 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space for up to five food and beverage retailers. There will also be outdoor patio areas for the retailers and a second-level patio.
