Collaborate building Dickinson mixed-use project

Dickinson Scores 15-Acre Mixed-Use Project

Robust growth is not just the domain of the Texas metro areas; it’s happening all over the state. Take the Galveston County town of Dickinson. Developer Collaborate is planning a 14.7-acre mixed-use project called Bayou Village. The Houston Business Journal reports the development — as currently proposed — will include a 20,000-square-foot, multitenant retail building; two pad sites; a 40,000-square-foot grocery store; and a four-story apartment complex with up to 240 one- and two-bedroom units and a garage on the ground level.

There will be about 240 parking spaces for the retail and at least 350 for the apartments. Collaborate is evaluating two different companies for the apartment development.

About 50% of the retail building is leased. A grocery tenant has been secured as well. The remaining tenant lineup includes Velvet Taco, Shake Shack, Crack Shack, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, Wild Fork and Via 313 Pizzeria.
