Phoenix Industrial Growth Inspiring Amenity Options

It’s not much of a secret that Phoenix’s industrial building market has exploded. It’s the second most active market in the country. Renters and buyers of these often-times massive properties are getting more particular about the extras a builder might throw in. The new owners and tenants are competing for employees and know they need to up their games. Industrial employers have a bigger focus on attracting quality, diverse talent.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports the Park303 project by Lincoln Property Group in Glendale could be one of first speculative industrial developments in the Valley to feature a pickleball and basketball court as part of the development’s built-in features. Developers are also including green space for lawn games, grills and seating for employees. The front entrance of the building resembles high-quality office space.

Owners and lessees also become more competitive for workers by holding weekly barbecues, offering higher-quality food options and “Employee of the Month” giveaways with prizes such as Apple products or TVs.
