Georgetown Mixed-Use Project Kicks Off Construction
Westinghouse Crossing, a 35-acre mixed-use development in Georgetown, is set to break ground in January. St. John Properties is heading up the project.
The development, which was previously expected to break ground this fall, will be located near the intersection of Westinghouse Road and North Mays Street and include 225,000 square feet of space.
170,000 square feet across four buildings will be designed for flexible research and development space. Additionally, there will be nearly 40,000 square feet across two buildings for commercial offices and just under 15,000 square feet in another building for retail space. A nearly 2-acre pad site for restaurant or healthcare uses is also planned.
The project’s first two buildings are expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
