Law Firm Meltzer, Lippe Expands Midtown Lease
Meltzer, Lippe, Goldsten & Breitstone has expanded its lease at the Heron Tower at 70 East 55th Street. Already occupying the 19th floor from a previous deal in 2021, the law firm is set to double its space with the entire 18th floor, totaling 5,835 square feet for a 10-year and six-month lease term.
Cresa’s Nicholas B. Markel facilitated the lease expansion with JLL’s Diana Biasotti, Kristen Morgan, and Thomas Swartz representing the landlord, AMTAD, LLC, while the law firm anticipates moving into the expanded space by the first quarter of 2024.
“Heron Tower is a LEED-certified, contemporary building with top-tier services and energy-efficient space,” said Cresa Managing Principal Peter Sabesan. “It was the right choice for our client in 2021 and continues to offer value with the new opportunity for expansion.”
