Candice Barter Receives BAC Architecture Award  

Candice Barter, principal at E4H Environments for Health Architecture, was honored with the 2023 Distinguished Alumni in Architecture Award from the Boston Architectural College (BAC). Celebrated at the BAC Alumni Awards, she was lauded for her influential contributions to healthcare design over her nearly two-decade career. 

Barter’s expertise in pediatric and behavioral health facility design has spearheaded transformative projects at renowned institutions like Boston Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Her approach, rooted in human-centric and research-based design, prioritizes patient and staff comfort. 

In her leadership role at E4H, Barter mentors teams and shapes the next generation of designers. Her involvement in critical committees during the pandemic underscores her dedication. Recognized for her commitment to innovation in healthcare spaces, Barter remains devoted to E4H’s mission of creating impactful, patient-focused environments.
