Angel Lagoon to Make Splash NE of Houston

Crystal Lagoon’s latest installment, the Angel Lagoon, is to be developed in Dayton, less than an hour’s drive NE of Houston. The lagoon experience will consist of a 40-acre mixed-use entertainment district. The lagoon is under construction and expected to open in Summer 2024.

The lagoon will include several themed beaches, including a family beach, an adult beach, a VIP beach and an entertainment beach. The facility’s food options will include an open aired restaurant called the Shoreline Grill, food truck plaza and a swim-up bar called the Aqua Bar. Additionally the new lagoon will feature a performance lawn and stage known as Angel Lagoon Live, synthetic turf celebration lawn, National Sailing Club watersports facility, boat docks, beach volleyball courts, hammock lawn, and VIP cabanas.

The Lagoon Development Company tapped DL Meacham to handle the Angel Lagoon and Advanced Construction construction to build the surrounding amenity buildings and parking lot.
