Burlingame’s 220 Park to House Bacchus Restaurant Concept

Joint venture partners Dostart Development Company (DDC) and Sares Regis Group of Northern California signed Bacchus Management Group to transform the restored 1940s-era Burlingame Post Office into a restaurant space at the base of the six-story 220 Park development, nearing completion in downtown Burlingame. The office and retail complex is slated for completion in spring 2024.

The still-unnamed restaurant concept will occupy approximately 8,000 square feet, plus an outdoor dining terrace overlooking the new Burlingame Town Square. The restaurant anticipates opening together with the Town Square by the end of 2024.

220 Park was represented in the deal by Chris Homs, Kurt Grundman, and Brendan Walsh from Lockehouse Retail Group, Inc.

For the brokerage team leasing the office space, Bacchus’ reputation for quality and hospitality “is a perfect match for our future tenants and will be a real draw,” said Mollie Ricker, partner at DDC.
