Largest Industrial Lease in Connecticut for ’23

A Fortune 500 energy company has signed a 214,000-square-foot lease at 130 Huntingdon Avenue in Waterbury, Connecticut, marking the state’s largest industrial lease this year.

The property, previously owned by Illinois Tool Works, was converted into a class “A” industrial building by River Bank Construction. The conversion included updates such as high-efficiency boilers, new loading dock doors, LED lighting, and more, making older properties attractive for adaptive reuse and renovation.

River Bank Construction was represented by Sean Cahill and David Sherman of Avison Young. The tenant was represented by Cushman & Wakefield.
