Family Trust Divests La Mesa Mixed-Use 

Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of Maple & University, a 5,950-square-foot mixed-use property located in La Mesa. The assets sold for $1,925,000. 

The buyer, Together Hospice Care, was procured by Joseph Gutierrez, investment associate, and Nick Totah, SVP investments, both with Marcus & Millichap’s San Diego Downtown office. The seller was the family trust of Leon F. Jacques and was represented by Kevan McDougal of Enduring Real Estate. 

The subject properties are located at 7660, 7762-7766 University Ave. and 4610 Maple Ave. in La Mesa. Built in 1960, the properties consist of one commercial office, one single-family residential and a five-unit, two-story multifamily property.
