Boca group gets Boca Raton OK to expand BRIC

Boca Raton’s BRIC Campus Slated for Major Mixed-Use Project

The Boca Raton City Council has approved a project that would include apartment units, retail, medical offices and a hotel at the site of BRIC, a large office campus. BRIC (Boca Raton Innovation Campus) is Florida’s largest single-facility office building at 1.7 million square feet.

The CP Group received zoning that allows them to build 1,243 residential units, 125,000 square feet of retail, a 55,000 square foot entertainment venue, a medical office building and a 140-bed hotel. The retail space would include a 40,000-square-foot grocery store. The developers would build on what is now an underutilized parking lot.

The City Council recently approved the new zoning for BRIC after more than five years of effort by CP Group, which co-owns the property with Rialto, DRA Advisors and Las Olas Capital Advisors.
