Colliers Represents Molto in Romeoville Logistics Facilities Sale
Colliers’ Jeff Devine and Steve Disse represented Molto Properties in the sale of two newly constructed, Class A industrial buildings totaling 897,840 square feet in the Weber 55 Logistics Park in Romeoville, Illinois.
The buyer was an institutional investor advised by Principal Asset Management. Weber 55 Logistics Park is a 60-acre campus with a 627,840-square-foot single-tenant building already leased to RJW Logistics and a 270,000-square-foot building, which was vacant at the time of the sale.
Centrally situated along the I-55 Corridor, the property provides access to local, regional and national distribution points and is surrounded by manufacturing and e-commerce companies. The I-55 Corridor remains one of the most active submarkets in the Chicago industrial market. Despite significant construction deliveries in the past few years, the vacancy rate remains low due to its strategic logistical location and ability to service the Chicago MSA.
