Walker & Dunlop Expands Affordable Platform with New Hire 

Walker & Dunlop is expanding its affordable housing platform by hiring Warren Horvath as a managing director. Horvath, a 20-year industry veteran, will focus on sourcing non-LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and programmatic joint-venture equity for affordable housing owners and operators.

He shares in our affordable mission and is a seasoned industry veteran who can help us provide more creative solutions for our clients’ equity needs,” said Sheri Thompson, executive vice president of Affordable Housing and Investment Management at Walker & Dunlop. “In today’s constantly shifting environment, Warren will help our clients bridge the equity gap and create much-needed affordable housing opportunities for our workforce communities.” 

Horvath brings extensive experience and expertise in housing transactions, having been involved in over $9 billion worth of transactions, representing over 75,000 units.
