Morgan's Wonderland to undergo $6M alterations

Unique San Antonio Theme Park Planning $6M Renovation

The one-of-a-kind theme park draws guests from all over the country. Morgan’s Wonderland is fully accessible to all visitors. Most rides are wheelchair accessible and for those who can’t use pedals, hand cranks get the job done instead. The owners are planning to spend $6 million on new attractions while updating others.

Major additions will include a new 4D cinema that will offer park guests a virtual roller coaster experience and a boat ride that will navigate the Northeast San Antonio park’s 8-acre lake.

Other additions include Rocket’s Sky Flight Adventure, a four-seat zipline that will soar above the lake, and Jette’s Magic Bikes, a wheelchair-accessible ride featuring six hang-glider-style cars that gently fly in a circular pattern. Each of the cars will be equipped with pedals that riders can use to make the cars swoop up and down.

To date, Morgan’s Wonderland has attracted 2.7 million guests from all 50 states and more than 120 countries.
