Providence Group Inks Six Retail Lease Deals

The Providence Group, a Charlotte-based boutique retail real estate brokerage firm, executed six retail transactions totaling more than 72,000 square feet in six markets across the Southeast. The activity involves deals with national retail brands Salon Lofts in the Metropolitan Charlotte market, Ulta in Cornelius, NC, Decca Dental in Kannapolis, NC, Discount Tire in Easley, SC, Planet Fitness in Lexington, SC and Aldi in Lynchburg, VA. 

The Providence Group’s Darren Wood (shown) said, “We continue to experience high levels of retail leasing activity across the Southeast’s key metro markets, including Charlotte. National brands and local retailers are filling space and retail still has significant tenant activity. Vacancies in prime areas remain relatively low, construction supply is also low, and retailers are adjusting their store footprint requirements, while being more flexible in their space needs.”
