50K SF Buildout Completed for AIT Worldwide Logistics Office
Skender recently completed construction on an expansive demolition and three-floor buildout for AIT Worldwide Logistics at Two Pierce Place located in Itasca, Illinois.
AIT, a global supply chain solutions company, occupies three floors within the 25-story, 494,000-square-foot office tower. The buildout included 210 workstations, 43 enclosed offices, nine conference rooms, a boardroom, and a 2,000-square-foot café. There’s also a dedicated reception area, game room, and several collaboration areas.
“This modern, highly visible location is a true manifestation of our global brand, and it provides our corporate staff with both the space and resources they need to best support our customers and teammates around the world,” said Vaughn Moore, Chairman and CEO, of AIT.
The project also included Partners by Design as the architect, RLE as the owner’s representation, and Advance Consulting Group as the engineer. Skender also recently completed Ace Hardware’s new headquarters at the former McDonald’s corporate campus.
