Smart Warehousing Renews 200K SF Lease with Lee & Associates

Lee & Associates represented Smart Warehousing in a 190,440-square-foot industrial lease renewal at 909 Whitaker Road in Plainfield, Indiana. 

John Sharpe, SIOR, CCIM, LEED-AP, Principal in the firm’s Illinois office, along with Steve Beals, SIOR and Richard King from Lee & Associates Indianapolis represented the tenant, which is a warehousing, fulfillment and logistics solutions company headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. Brian Seitz, SIOR of JLL Indianapolis represented the owner, Nuveen Industrial.  

The deal marks Smart Warehousing’s second renewal of the space. “This is a great central location adjacent to Indianapolis International Airport and the four-way interchange at I-70 and Ronald Reagan Parkway. A strategic location is critical to the success of a 3PL company like Smart Warehousing, allowing them to best serve their customer base,” said Sharpe.
