Dermatology Practice Acquires New Location in San Diego

GK Dermatology and Med Spa has acquired a 10,000-square-foot freestanding retail building located at 4606 Mission Bay Dr. in San Diego for $5.25 million. The new ownership will use the building for its dermatology and med spa practice.

JLL’s Chris Baumgart, Steven Field and Bryan Cunningham represented the seller, SMP Realty, LLC, a local sewing machine business that will continue to operate out of its other San Diego locations. The buyer was represented by Ron Graves of Coldwell Banker Commercial.

“The sale reflects continued demand we see in the ‘Owner-User’ market here in San Diego, where the cost to own is generally more favorable compared to leasing,” said Baumgart. “4606 Mission Bay Dr. provides the buyer with a good retail location and access to the coastal communities in Pacific Beach and Mission Bay.”
