NewQuest close to delivering Tomball retail center

NewQuest Soon to Deliver $90M Tomball Regional Center

NewQuest Properties is close to delivering a $90 million regional retail center on a 65-acre site in Tomball.

The Grand at 249 will total 404,256 square feet at build-out, creating the largest concentration of retail in the submarket. The project will front Tomball Tollway/TX 249 and Grand Parkway/TX 99, an intersection still on the drawing boards when NewQuest acquired the site in the early 1990s.

NewQuest is negotiating or have signed leases for 388,856 square feet or 96.1% of the project since the beginning of the year. AT&T, Boomer Jack’s, Gringo’s, Jersey Mike’s, Milano Nails and Two Pho Nine Asian Fusion have signed leases and negotiations are underway with more top brands, including anchor tenants. NewQuest will deliver the development sites the month.

In addition to inline space, The Grand at 249 will feature 12 pad sites, ranging from one to two acres. Additionally, the developer is planning to build two multi-tenant buildings totaling 24,902 square feet.
