Aloft Ft. Lauderdale to open Nov 10

Marriott Aloft to Open Near Ft. Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Terminals

Green Park Management will open a 138-room Aloft Hotel at 501 S.E. 24th St., about 3.5 miles away from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and 1.5 miles from Port Everglades cruise terminals. The new 14-story Marriott hotel will open November 10th.

The hotel will employ about 40 full-time staffers led by an executive team of 10. Amenities include an 800-square-foot premium fitness center with a yoga terrace, a 5,000-square-foot second-floor lobby with a bar and outdoor terrace, a breakfast establishment, and 14th-floor covered deck with a rooftop pool, gaming area, and cabanas.

The South Florida Business Journal reports the Aloft Hotel’s construction was financed with a $31.69 million loan secured by a limited liability company managed by Robert Guarini, president of Green Park Management. FLL Hospitality LLLP acquired the site where Aloft was built for $3.3 million in January 2020.
