Baltimore Harborplace Pavilions to be Demolished

MCB Real Estate has announced its plans to tear down the Harborplace pavilions in Baltimore, Maryland, as part of its redevelopment of the iconic waterfront site. Reported by Baltimore Business Journal

The developer aims to reimagine the prime downtown space over the next five years, with a focus on dramatic changes and infrastructure improvements to address climate change-related challenges like rising water levels.

MCB Real Estate acquired Harborplace in July 2022 after it spent four years in court-ordered receivership. The project is expected to involve significant public and private investments and could include the integration of public park and retail space with residential units along the Inner Harbor.
