Nashville’s “The Pike” Taking Shape
Two development groups have been actively gobbling up properties in the Dickerson Pike corridor of Nashville. Aria Development and Wedgewood Avenue are helming the effort to construct a 12-acre master-planned community in East Nashville. For two years, the firms have assembled the development site through off-market acquisitions of 13 parcels located at and around 1411 Dickerson Pike.
The Nashville Business Journal reports the mixed-use development, referred to as “The Pike,” will feature five residential buildings, ranging from three to five stories, four build-to-rent townhomes, two plex units (such as a duplex or triplex) and a parking garage. Plans also include around 15,000 square feet of retail space.
The development will be anchored by a central park, indoor and outdoor dining, a resort-style pool and other amenities.
Local architectural firm Smith Gee Studio is leading design for the development.
Multiple permits have been issued for the project, and the team plans to begin construction in early 2024.
