Greystone Launches Preferred Equity Platform  

Greystone has launched a preferred equity and joint venture advisory and production group, led by senior managing director Matthew Zisler. The platform aims to provide subordinate financing solutions to address borrowers’ evolving capital needs, especially in today’s higher interest rate environment where senior loan proceeds are often lower.  

Greystone Equity will use its balance sheet and market relationships to offer equity and preferred equity solutions, which can be combined with Greystone’s Agency or bridge financing solutions.  

This initiative aims to provide multifamily financing solutions while offering options to complete the capital stack for clients. Zisler brings over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, capital raising, equity investments, and structured financing to the role.
