CenterSquare Acquires MF Community, Continues Midwest Expansion

CenterSquare Investment Management acquired Wynne Farms, a 50-unit build-to-rent (BTR) townhome community located in Brownsburg, Indiana, approximately 11 miles west of downtown Indianapolis. The property is comprised of 50 two-story townhome units, averaging more than 1,750 square feet.

CenterSquare’s SVP of Private Real Estate Chris Picyk, said, “Indianapolis is strategically positioned for sustained, steady growth. This investment underscores our confidence in the sector, as we introduce this property type in a location marked by limited new supply. Through this strategy, CenterSquare aims to offer affordable housing alternatives in thriving submarkets across the nation.”

Similar to the firm’s first local acquisition of Casey Corner, unit interiors include three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom floor plans and luxury amenities, including quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Wynne Farms is currently under construction in collaboration with M/I Homes with deliveries scheduled to occur from September 2023 through February 2024.
