JMC, Stars REI Buy Billerica Resi Community
John M. Corcoran & Company (JMC) and Stars REI have jointly acquired The Val, a 211-unit apartment community in Billerica, Massachusetts.
JMC, a real estate development and property management firm, partnered with Stars REI, a global private company with real estate holdings in the U.S. and the U.K., for this acquisition. JMC will provide property management services and complete the lease-up of The Val.
Completed in 2021, the property features one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes. The apartment community offers amenities including a two-story fitness center, an inner courtyard with a fire pit, and an outdoor swimming pool.
John M. Corcoran & Company and Stars REI worked with Simon Butler, Biria St John, John McLaughlin and Brian Bowler of CBRE represented the seller in the transaction. The CBRE Multifamily Finance team, led by John Kelly, arranged the financing.
