Sasaki Adds Rishi Nandi as New Associate Principal Architect
Rishi Nandi, a licensed architect with over 20 years of experience in research space planning for academic institutions and commercial clients, has joined Sasaki, a Boston-based design firm, as an associate principal in architecture. He will lead the firm’s science and technology practice, overseeing projects from space utilization and optimization to design and implementation.
Nandi has worked on projects for institutions like Harvard University, MIT, and Northeastern University, as well as commercial laboratories for clients including MITIMCo and BXP. His expertise includes creating technical spaces that meet stakeholder needs, facilitate research, and integrate well with their surroundings.
“He has the whole-lifecycle understanding of science buildings that lets him relate to stakeholder needs in a meaningful way to come up with the best possible answer,” says Sasaki principal interior designer Elizabeth von Goeler.
