Newmark Expands Urban Retail Group With New Hires

Newmark Group has hired a team of five retail real estate experts in Boston to form its Urban Retail Group. Executive managing director Matt Curtin, senior managing director Greg Covey, and directors Nicole Nielsen, Alden Bush and Ela Hazar.  

These professionals form Newmark’s Urban Retail Group, specializing in retail tenant and landlord representation in Greater Boston; The team will specialize in retail tenant and landlord representation in Greater Boston.  

Curtin and Covey will co-lead the team, bringing a combined 70 years of brokerage experience and 14 years of in-house landlord/developer and retailer experience. The team members have executed more than 100 retail transactions in the Boston area and currently represent more than 60 clients, including national and regional shopping, dining, and wellness brands.
