Eaton Looking to Take Over El Paso Helen Of Troy Campus

Eaton makes a lot of stuff; from golf grips to hydraulic power generators. Since 2019 the company has had a large presence in El Paso, and its expected to get larger. The company announced that it is investing $80 million on new operations and expanding its El Paso workforce from 300 to 900.

While they won’t commit to it today, it’s widely rumored that the company is taking over the Helen of Troy corporate headquarters. Helen of Troy recently put their head office and warehouse on the market and the two buildings are some of the few in the town that would go for that kind of price.

On Aug. 30, Helen of Troy entered into a contract with an unnamed buyer of its building in Northwest El Paso. The only publicly traded company headquartered in El Paso, Helen of Troy said it would remain in El Paso but would be moving to a new facility as it restructures.
