Shake Shack Coming to Loudoun 

Shake Shack has signed a lease for a 3,000-square-foot pad site at Cascades Marketplace in Sterling, Loudoun County, Virginia. Reported by Washington Business Journal. 

The outlet is set to open in 2025. The move follows the departure of a McDonald’s restaurant after its lease expires in fall 2024. Cascades Marketplace, owned by an affiliate of Willard Retail, is also undergoing cosmetic improvements and additional residential development as part of a repositioning plan. Willard Retail is spending $5m on improvements at the 1990s-era retail center.  

KLNB represented Shake Shack in the lease, while Willard was represented in-house.
