Cutting Edge Production Studio Planned for Pier 94

Vornado Realty Trust, Hudson Pacific Properties, and Blackstone, in partnership with the City of New York and New York City Economic Development Corporation, have initiated Manhattan’s first public-private partnership to build Sunset Pier 94 Studios in Midtown. 

The purpose-built studio campus at Pier 94 aims to enhance New York City’s competitive edge in content production, offering film and production technology. The project is set to feature amenities, including public restrooms, community spaces, waterfront open space, and more.  

The total investment of around $350 million is expected to create over 1,300 construction jobs, 400 permanent jobs, and contribute $6.4 billion to the local economy over three decades.
