293-unit Larkspur Fia Park ready in 2025

293-Unit, Mixed-Income Fair Park Rental Community In Works

Larkspur Capital is expecting to spend $60 million on The Larkspur Fair Park, a 293-unit multifamily community near Fair Park. The five-story apartment complex will feature a fitness center, pool and street retail. The housing development is scheduled to begin in November and is expected to be completed in 2025.

The Dallas Business Journal reports half of the units will be available to residents earning at or less than 80% of the area median income, and approximately 144 units will be available at the market rate.

The 415,000-square-foot development is a four-minute walk from the Fair Park DART station and close to Baylor Medical Center and an ALDI store. Near where the complex is going up, the $80 million, 18-acre Community Park Complex will offer numerous outdoor activities upon completion in 2025. The complex will feature an outdoor café, picnic areas, dog park, a market grove and a central lawn.

Dallas-based firm Corgan was tapped to undertake the project’s design.
