DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC Renews Moody Bible Institute Lease

DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC’s Vice Presidents Mandy Lewandowski and Chris Mergenthaler represented Welbic IV as the landlord of 2701 S. Western Avenue in Chicago in the renewal of a 36,956 square foot lease to Moody Bible Institute (Moody Publishers). Cresa’s Julie Lane represented Moody Publishers in the lease renewal.

“Moody Publishers knew that they wanted to remain in the city. They have loved the space they currently occupy and are happy to stay there for many more years,” says Lewandowski. Moody Publishers is a Chicago-based nonprofit Christian publishing house that was founded by D. L. Moody in 1894.

The Lower West Side industrial property building is located in the Little Village neighborhood and has easy access to I-290, I-55, and Downtown Chicago. With 20’ clear height and four loading docks, it’s a very functional space just 10 minutes from the Chicago Loop and McCormick Place.
