Lee & Associates Sells Logistics Facility to Nomad Investment for $2.7M

Lee & Associates, one of the largest national commercial real estate providers, negotiated the $2.7 million sale of a 21,627-square-foot truck maintenance facility located at 1790 Gilpen Avenue in South Elgin, Illinois.

Lee & Associates represented both the buyer and the seller with the company’s Kenneth Franzese and John Cassidy, Principals, representing the seller, Rock Investment Group, LLC. John M. Joyce, Senior Associate at Lee & Associates, represented the buyer, Nomad Investment Group, LLC. Nomad Investment Group is part of the trucking company Nomad Freight.

The building, featuring 20 drive-in doors and 1,904 square feet of office space, is an active terminal being used by the buyer.

“The transportation industry remains active in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs with Industrial Outside Storage (IOS) facilities in high demand,” said Cassidy. “The Gilpen property has the added benefit of being well-located, most notably with immediate access to I-90.”
