Sterling Bay Tops Out 28-Story Residential Development
Sterling Bay recently celebrated the structural completion of 225 N Elizabeth, the firm’s latest residential development in Fulton Market, with a topping-out ceremony hosted on the 26th floor of the building.
Chicago’s Vice Mayor and 27th Ward Alderman Walter Burnett, Jr., Sterling Bay’s project leadership team, and partners at Ascentris, McHugh Construction, and Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture attended.
The property will offer 350 units to continue accommodating the growing demand for rental units in one of Chicago’s most popular submarkets. 225 N Elizabeth is being developed in partnership with Ascentris and includes financing from Citizens and Old National Bank. Ascentris is also partnering with Sterling Bay on The Dylan.
“Despite an evolving commercial real estate landscape, the demand for upscale rental residential is rising,” said Andy Gloor, CEO of Sterling Bay. “225 N Elizabeth embodies the character of a vibrant urban lifestyle, providing residents with a next-level living experience in one of Chicago’s most sought-after neighborhoods.”
