Townhome, Multifamily Project Close to McKinney Approval

McKinney’s Planning and Zoning Commission gave a proposed development featuring 233 townhome- and multifamily-style units its okay. Landmark Cos. now only has to get the blessing of the towns council next week and it can move forward on its project.

The Lofts at Alma Road would be located on about 10.9 acres at the southeast corner of Silverado Trail and Alma Road. The proposed project would feature a single three-story multifamily building at the center surrounded by two-story townhome-style units and single-story detached garages. Amenities planned for the development include a playground, pickleball courts and a pool.

Its website says Landmark Companies is a woman-led, minority-owned, private multifamily and industrial development firm. They’ve delivered over 7,000 multifamily units.
