Clayton Dubilier & Rice Leases 144K-SF at 550 Madison
The Olayan Group announced that Clayton Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), a private investment advisory firm, has signed a lease for approximately 144,000 square feet at 550 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.
CD&R will occupy six floors, doubling its current space. The 41-story office tower recently underwent a repositioning, offering multi-tenant office space with amenities and sustainability features. Other tenants include Chubb Limited, Hermès, Junto Capital, and Corsair Capital LP. The building features The Garden, a new green space, and The Arch, an exclusive tenant space designed by Rockwell Group with high ceilings and column-free floor plates.
CBRE represented the landlord with a team led by Mary Ann Tighe, Howard Fiddle, Arkady Smolyansky, Scott Gottlieb, Ben Joseph and Alice Fair. Newmark represented the tenant with a team led by Andrew Sachs and Ben Shapiro. Fried Frank advised the Olayan Group on its leasing agreement with a team led by Robert J. Sorin, Valerie Kelly and Danielle R. Frank.
