Berkadia Adds Managing Director Brian Gould to DC Mortgage Banking Platform
Berkadia has appointed Brian Gould as a managing director in its mortgage banking platform. Gould, a commercial real estate finance veteran, will be based in the DC Metro office. He will be arranging loans and JV equity for various property types.
With his extensive background as a mortgage broker, owner, developer, and lender, Gould brings knowledge to enhance the team’s client service. Throughout his 22-year career, he has closed over $15 billion in transactions.
Prior to Berkadia, Gould served as a managing director at Chatham Financial, leading a CRE capital advisory team. Gould also worked as the director of capital markets at JBG SMITH and has experience as a CRE lender at Prudential Financial and Guggenheim Partners.
