Tempur-Pedic Adds to 1 Million SF Phoenix-Area Footprint
Tempur-Sealy claims to be the countries largest bedding provider. When they need a place to warehouse their products, they need to go large. One of their subsidiaries, Tempur-Pedic has picked an under-construction warehouse in Tolleson for its next distribution center. Tolleson is 15 minutes west of downtown Phoenix on I-10.
Tempur-Pedic will occupy 100% of a 321,892-square-foot building called Buckeye85 south of Interstate 10 in a large industrial core. The $60 million industrial facility is being developed by LPC Desert West, the Southwest division of Dallas-based Lincoln Property Co., at the southwest corner of 103rd Avenue and Buckeye Road.
The project, on 20-acres, is expected to be completed by the end of that year.
The new location will add to Tempur-Pedic’s longstanding presence in the Valley and bring its total footprint to 1.5 million square feet. Last year, Tempur Sealy signed a 552,330 square-foot lease in the Tolleson area.
