KPMG Begins Reevaluating Its Atlanta Space Requirements
With two years left on its Downtown lease, global accounting firm KPMG LLP has begun evaluating its office space needs in Atlanta, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported. KPMG hired Cushman & Wakefield’s John Winter, Kirk Diamond, April Parrish and Erin Smith to conduct the search.
It’s unclear if KPMG is looking to relocate, renew in place or restack its existing space, reported the Business Chronicle. The firm now houses its primary Atlanta offices at Truist Plaza in Downtown, where it leases around 100,000 square feet. It also has a 24,000-square-foot innovation hub at One Atlantic Center in Midtown, which it opened in 2017, and offices in Cobb County.
If the firm relocates, it will be the second Big Four accounting firm to vacate office space in Downtown for another market in the city. Earlier this year, KPMG’s peer Deloitte Ltd. leased 95,000 square feet at Promenade Tower, where it will relocate from its longtime Atlanta offices at 191 Peachtree
